This is our premium gasket. This performance gasket is made of AFM. AFM gaskets are the ideal gasket material for machined surfaces,or surfaces that have been chrome plated. AFM is a chemically blown compound of nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. It has a temperature resistance of over 250 DEG.F. It also has an 85% recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. No gaskets sealers or re-torque required.
